Personal Experience

Stephen is a Business & Commercial Real Estate Broker at NewLeaf.  He enjoys helping clients achieve their goals by leveraging his professional experience as a CPA, business owner, and commercial real estate broker.   Prior to joining NewLeaf, he owned and operated a CPA firm where he performed financial audits, accounting and tax compliance for small/medium sized business clients across industries and professions.  Additionally, Varnedoe owned and operated a commercial real estate brokerage firm, serving investor clients.  He holds active North Carolina CPA, Personal Financial Specialist, and Real Estate licenses.

Varnedoe is a southeastern North Carolina native and a graduate of North Carolina State University.  Outside of business engagements, Varnedoe can be found on weekends at the coast fishing, sailing or eating oysters with his family.
